GETTING UP & RUNNING – INSTALLING ON A NEW OR ADDITIONAL COMPUTER OR RECOVERING FROM A VIRUS OR CRASH
Issue:
Getting back up and running. The software needs to be installed on a New or Additional Computer. Or, the software needs to be reinstalled on the same machine to Recover from a Virus or Crash.
IMPORTANT:
If your reinstalling on the same computer, make sure you have a Backup of your data before reinstalling or you will loose your data. If you don’t have a backup, as a last resort, it may be possible to Restore from the AutoBackups.
Note:
To load your current data into the software, you will need to have a backup that was created from the Software’s Backup function of the Database Maintenance screen, (DO NOT back up to a CD or restore data made from a CD). If you do not have a backup of your data, you will not be able to get your information loaded into the software.
STEP 1: Instructions for installing the software:
* Install the software on the computer by either downloading your software products Free Trial from our website, using the download links below, or by using the CD that was sent when the software was purchased.
Please be aware that by downloading the software from our website you will be downloading the latest release of the software and if you originally purchased an older version than an update fee may apply.
The software may be downloaded an unlimited number of times.
NOTE: Older versions of the software are not compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, or Windows 10 .
If you want to remain using an older version than you must install the software from the original CD.
NOTE: We do not supply replacement CDs or download links to old versions of the software, therefore, if your old versions original CD has been lost, you will be required to update to the latest version to get the software installed.
Old versions do not need to exist on the computer to install and use the current version of the software.
Regardless of whether the software is installed by downloading or from the original CD, the new installation will start in Free Trial mode.
Note: The Free Trial is the full-working and complete version of the software. It just needs your data and a Registration Number to be activated.

STEP 2: Instructions for loading your customer data:
* Ignore any Registration Errors and open the Database Maintenance screen. Load your data using the Restore feature. Your software is automatically re-registered when the data is restored.
NOTE: If you get Registration Error #7 after Restoring your data, then you’ve most likely imported data from an older version into the new latest version. You will need to purchase the latest update for your product.

Instructions for starting over if you don’t have any data to load:
* Ignore any Registration Errors and open the Company Maintenance screen. Enter your company information as it was verified when the software was registered.
* Open the Order/Register screen and enter your Registration Number and click the Accept button. You will be at the point where you may begin entering your customers.
