ADKAD PDF

WHAT IS THE ADKAD PDF?
The Adkad PDF is a virtual printer that gets added to your computers ‘Devices & Printers’ for GroundsKeeper Pro to use for print preview and emailing capabilities.

The Adkad PDF virtual printer gets installed automatically when GroundsKeeper Pro is installed so it is not necessary to install it separately unless it’s been corrupted or accidentally uninstalled.

ISSUE:

A message pops up warning that “The document cannot be previewed and/or emailed because the ‘Adkad PDF’ printer cannot be found on your computer…”

CAUSE:

The Adkad PDF virtual printer may have been uninstalled, deleted, renamed, corrupted or moved from your computer.

SOLUTION 1: Use this link to download and REINSTALL the ‘Adkad PDF’ – https://www.adkad.com/ftp/AdkadPDF.exe

SOLUTION 2: Use Windows CONTROL PANEL|PROGRAMS|PROGRAMS AND FEATURES to REPAIR your Adkad software product.

SOLUTION 3: Or, reinstall your Adkad product by either re-downloading or the using the CD you received when you purchased it.  When you re-run the installation program it detects that the software has already been installed and gives you the option to REPAIR it.

GETTING ADKAD PDF INSTALLATION ERRORS?

ISSUE: 

Trying to install the Adkad PDF results in the error “Install PDF Writer Failed (Error-109)”.

BEFORE REINSTALLING DO THESE STEPS:

Use Windows CONTROL PANEL|PROGRAMS|PROGRAMS AND FEATURES to make sure the ‘Adkad PDF’ is uninstalled.
Use Windows Explorer to delete the ‘Adkad PDF’ folder located in ‘C:\Program Files (x86)’, if it exists.
Restart your computer.
Now, try reinstalling the ‘Adkad PDF’.
If you still have a problem make sure you’re installing the ‘Adkad PDF’ as an Administrator by saving the download file ‘AdkadPDF.exe’ onto your computer and then right-mouse clicking on it and selecting ‘RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR’.
