BUTTONS MISSING/UNREADABLE AND SCREENS BEYOND VIEWABLE AREA OF MONITOR

You are here:
< Back

Issue:

If your screen resolution is NOT GREATER than 800 x 600 the software’s screens may extend beyond the viewable area of your monitor. Button text may also be unreadable, and buttons may be unusable due to being off the screen. These type of issues will essentially make the software frustrating and practically unusable.

Solution:

The fix for this is simple: simply increase your screen’s resolution to be greater than 800 x 600.

How to Increase your Screen Resolution:

STEP 1:
Exit and close-out of all software, including GroundsKeeper, that may be running.

STEP 2:
For XP Users:
Right mouse-click anywhere in an unused area on your Desktop and select Properties or Open DISPLAY in Control Panel. Select the Settings tab.

For Vista or Win7 Users:
Right mouse-click anywhere in an unused area on your Desktop and select Personalize Display Settings or in Control Panel select Appearance & Personalization / Adjust Screen Resolution.

STEP 3:
Drag the slider bar for Screen Resolution to a setting GREATER then 800 x 600 and click Apply. See Image 1.

NOTE: A higher screen resolution reduces the size of the items on your screen and increases the relative space on your desktop.
